After six failed efforts I finally managed to load a new photo on my blog profile today. The trick in the end was to delete the existing one first, then save, then paste in the new URL from Flickr and then save again!
This technology game really does require persistance, but I am getting more feisty and not accepting 'No' for an answer!!
